This is a heavier flogger. The handle is a section from the middle of the impala horn, with an end knot for more comfortable handling of a heavier whip. Because the handle is wide at the end, it can be weighted to balance heavier tails. The handle has the distinctive ridges, texture and color, the unmistakable look and feel of the animal horn.

A popular choice for tails is black buffalo hide, as shown, but other leather can be ordered. Ochre deerskin? Creamy white cow? Red suede? Chocolate brown cow hide? Call or email to discuss choices. The knots are always black.
